Raising Cane’s is preparing to open in Fredericksburg, the chicken fingers chain told Patch over email.
A Raising Cane’s spokesperson said the new location is expected to open by the end of October.
The restaurant will be located at 3071 Plank Road near Central Park’s main entrance. The former Pier 1 Imports building was torn down as construction began in February, Fredericksburg’s economic development department said.
The new restaurant will span about 4,000 feet, city officials said.
Raising Cane’s specializes in chicken fingers and dipping sauces. “We serve only the most craveable chicken finger meals,” the chain says on its website. “It’s our one love.”
