Christian provides direct oversight and management of the team responsible for the leasing of Rappaport managed shopping centers and retail spaces throughout the Washington DC Metro Area. As Head of Leasing, he oversees lease negotiations, plans and develops leasing strategies, assists with tenant recruitment and works with the executive team on new acquisitions.
Since joining Rappaport in 2011, Christian executed over $300 million in lease transactions encompassing more than 1.2 million square feet. He served as a trusted advisor to several landlord clients such as Principal Real Estate Investors, LaSalle Investments, AEW and Crow Holdings and developed expansion strategies for tenants such as Nash & Smash, District Taco, Hair Cuttery, Velocity Concepts, Andrews Federal Credit Union and Dominique Dawes Gymnastics and Ninja Academy and more throughout the region and beyond.
Christian has utilized his global perspective to discover emerging retail concepts, and his international residencies in cities like London, Buenos Aires, Vancouver, and Miami, along with his fluency in English and Spanish, give him a unique advantage in connecting with and understanding multicultural communities in the D.C. market.
