2024 has been an incredible year for Rappaport as we celebrate our 40th Anniversary and continue to meet exciting milestones and deliver outstanding service to our clients. We had the privilege of taking over leasing and management for prime properties including Germantown Commons, Spring Valley Village, Loudoun Crossroads, and Tysons West Phase III. We welcomed Burlington, Dominique Dawes Gymnastics Academy, Dessert 39, and more to our tenant advisory service, signed deals with major anchor tenants, opened new restaurants in the District, and so much more. Tenant Grand Openings

Village Pickle at Village at Leesburg 

Village Pickle, a unique indoor 24,000-square-foot pickleball facility, opened its doors at Village at Leesburg, combining sport, socializing, and gourmet meals. A concept from USTA Mid-Atlantic, it boasts eight professional-grade courts, a lounge area, ping pong tables, and more. 

The Container Store at Springfield Plaza 

Rappaport’s development team delivered this 15,282-square-foot store, managing interior buildout, HVAC installation, facade construction, and more. The Container Store now takes its place alongside nationally-recognized brands like Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and CVS at Springfield Plaza

Cordelia Fishbar at Union Market’s Morse 

A fresh culinary offering from Clyde’s Restaurant Group, this high-end seafood restaurant is already making waves in Union Market.

Barnes & Noble at Bull Run Plaza 

Manassas residents now enjoy a brand-new Barnes & Noble location, offering a haven for book lovers at Bull Run Plaza

Crème de la Crème in Old Town 

This French- and Italian-inspired boutique is perfect for shoppers who enjoy unique and elegant finds.  Beginning as a single store in Middleburg, this local retailer has since expanded to five locations across the region.

Club Studio at Tysons West 

Rapapport’s leasing team secured Club Studio to open its fourth U.S. location at Tysons West. This state-of-the-art facility offers everything from high-end fitness equipment to studio classes. 

Leases Signed to Look Forward To

Aldi at Avec (H Street NE) 

This German discount grocery chain has plans to open its next D.C. store early next year, bringing more grocery options to the H Street community. 

Raising Cane’s in Chinatown 

Fans of this famed chicken eatery can look forward to a fall 2025 opening in the heart of D.C. 

Barbouzard at 1700 K Street 

This French-Mediterranean dining concept from Lebanese Taverna’s Dany Abi-Najm is set to open in spring 2025 near Farragut Square. The principles at Barbouzard recently announced bringing on established D.C. chef Cedric Maupillier.

Maruichi Japanese Food & Deli at Tysons 3 

Set to open in December, this 18,444-square-foot market near the Spring Hill Metro is set to be the largest location yet for the Fuji Mart Group. 

Omakase Japanese Sushi at Sage National Landing 

Joining National Landing next year, this upscale sushi restaurant offers a reservation-only experience featuring a “chef’s choice” menu.
