Photos with Santa
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The decorations are up, and the warm, cozy feeling is all around, bringing friends and family together. And what could be better than capturing memories with Santa Claus himself? Rappaport has you covered with multiple opportunities to get your photo with the Big Man. And the fun doesn’t end with the photo-op— these events offer Build-A-Snowman stations, crafts, music, giveaways, and much more for everyone to enjoy. Read on to find an event near you!
Professional Photos with Santa will be held at Worldgate Centre on Saturday, December 9, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. and at Towers Shopping Center on Sunday, December 10, from 12:00-4:00 p.m.! Be sure to bring your holiday spirit and cheer to capture the perfect memories with your loved ones.
Hilltop Plaza will host their Soulful Santa experience from 10:00 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 10th. From 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., they will serve the special needs community by having Sensory Photos with Santa. This will be for children who struggle with crowds, loud noises, bright flashes, and more. From 4 – 7 PM, all are welcome to come take photos with Santa. There will be music, and the Christmas spirit will be felt throughout the entire Plaza!
Village at Leesburg will also host Sensory Santa Visits in partnership with A Place to Be on Sunday, December 3, from 9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 10, from 9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Registration is required for this event so click here to secure your spot!
Santa will also be available for selfies at several holiday events throughout the season! Alexandria Commons will have Selfies with Santa at their Festive Friday Event, on Friday, December 1 – from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Festival at Riva (Saturday, December 2 – from 1:00-3:00 p.m.), Tysons West (Friday, December 8 – from 5:00-7:00 p.m.), and Brambleton Town Center’s (Sunday, December 3 – 12:00-3:00 p.m.) Winter Wonderland Events also offer an excellent opportunity for spontaneous photos with Santa Claus. Get ready to click pictures and share them on social media and with your friends and family. Bring your smartphones or cameras and make the most of these exciting events.
Village at Leesburg Holiday Events
Village at Leesburg will kick off the holiday season on Saturday, November 18, starting with a Holiday Open House! From 2-4 p.m., knock out your holiday shopping before the annual Tree Lighting Festival for merchant specials, ice skating, and much more. Grab your favorite holiday drink to go, and stroll the Village to see all that the merchants have to offer this holiday season.
Later, gather with friends and family in the Plaza for an afternoon of family-friendly entertainment from local performance groups, carolers, cookie decorating with The Conche, ice skating, and much more at the Annual Tree Lighting Festival. Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be onsite, and they cannot wait to snap a photo with you!
The Tree Lighting isn’t your only opportunity to celebrate the season at Village at Leesburg! Santa will visit the Village for three consecutive Saturdays on December 2nd, 9th, and 16th from 4:00-6:00 p.m. so there will be plenty of opportunities to let him know what’s on your list!
The Village will also be hosting a Hannukah Menorah Lighting presented by the Gesher Day School. This family oriented, community-wide candle lighting event will be held on December 7, 2023. Holiday themed foods and activities will include Latkes, Dreidel playing, Doughnuts, kids crafts, music, a Photobooth and more!
