Another former TGI Fridays has a taker.
DLC, the relatively new owner of the Springfield Commons shopping center, recently updated its site plan to show Jason’s Crab House in the 6,300-square-foot space formerly occupied by the troubled Fridays chain.
According to state corporation filings, Jason’s Crab House may be affiliated with restaurants and other businesses all sporting the “54” moniker — among them 54 Restaurant Bar & Lounge at the Fair City Mall. The owner of 54 Restaurant at Springfield Town Center said he has no connection to Jason’s Crab House.
The deal with Jason’s Crab House was queued up before DLC acquired the property. Michael Kang of Rappaport, the McLean firm that leased the center prior to its sale, represented the tenant and Pat O’Meara and Christian Kingston of Rappaport represented the landlord.
