Rappaport was recently tapped to manage the retail leasing of Beckert’s Park, a 2.75-acre site on the corner of 14th Street and Kentucky Avenue Southeast.  Previously home to a brewery, ice cream factory, biergarten and beloved amusement park, Beckert’s Park is reimagined once again to match the idyllic residential pocket of Capitol Hill.

Upon completion of the site’s redevelopment, Beckert’s Park will house a 325-unit Class-A apartment community, 60,000-square-foot Safeway and up to 8,000 square feet of neighborhood retail space just two blocks from the Potomac Avenue Metro.  Rappaport’s Jim Farrell and Alex Shiel are leasing two vented retail spaces just above 4,000 square feet each in this densely residential neighborhood that is starving for recreation and entertainment options in the immediate area.
